South Kensington Medical & Dental provides private symptomatic lesion testing at our CQC-registered clinic. This test uses a PCR swab from an active genital or oral lesion to detect the most common causes of STI-related ulcers, including syphilis and herpes simplex virus.
Testing uses a PCR swab, with results available within 7 days. This test is priced at £150.
No GP referral is required. Swabs should be taken from active lesions for optimal sensitivity. All samples are analysed at UKAS-accredited laboratories.
